Based on the wonderful book by Pam England, this popular
series is an immersion into the realm of labor, birth
and postpartum — through experiential learning,
in depth dialogue learn coping techniques and comfort
measures for birth, build your confidence in your ability
to navigate any path your labor and birthing takes and
the real deal about postpartum needs.
If
you are considering both childbirth series, we recommend
HypnoBirthing in the second trimester and Birthing From
Within in the third trimester.

Birth
Roots is pleased to offer a special 4 week postpartum
class designed for mothers and babies (2
weeks to 12 weeks old at the start of the session).
Class content is based on the specific needs
of each group but generally consists of new
ways to interact with your baby, discussion
and support on topics such as sleep, slings,
crying and your changing role as a mother.
Blossoming
Newborns is Birth Roots' way of making sure
that you have as much support after your baby
arrives as you did while you were pregnant.
We welcome all moms, no matter where you
gave birth!

Drop-Ins
Bring a lunch and enjoy social time for mom and/or dad and
baby, get out of the house and find peer support in a comfortable,
newborn-friendly space. Birth Roots requests a minimum donation
of $1 per visit.

- Thursday 12-2 for 0-12 month olds (hosted by the Breastfeeding
Center of Maine)
