Coconut Oil for all kinds of massage, eating, etc - Leah could go on for hours about the wonders of coconut oil!

Birth Balls (physio or yoga balls) to encourage optimal positioning of your baby for an easier birth and to soothe a fussy newborn (and entertain sneaky toddlers). 65 and 75 cm "burst resistant" balls are the best.

Arms Reach Co-Sleeper for families looking for middle ground between bed sharing and crib sleeping.

Jogging Strollers with swivel front wheels for older babies - though slings are the best for at least the first few months.

Calm Mother CD from Calm Birth (we're interested but still looking into the Calm Birth program) - great for soothing anxieties or mind chatter, enhances sleep and builds confidence.

Tried and True Products for Pregnancy and Parenting Our retail section has grown organically out of the desire to help new and expecting families easily access the products that we frequently reference in our classes. In addition to seeking out products considered indispensable by many families, we also look for durable, multi-purpuse products that will enrich your parenting experience. Swaddling Blankets Muslin swaddling blankets are the newest addition to our retail room. New families have been raving about these for years and we talk about them in every Fourth Trimester and Buds class. Their large size and light weight make for a great swaddle that soothes babies and can improve their sleep. Receiving blankets are not at all adequate for swaddling beyond the first week or so - don't be without a proper swaddling blanket! We prefer this to other specialized swaddling systems because of their versatility and longevity. In addition to being a perfect swaddler it can also be used as a nursing cover, a sun shade, a burp cloth, an extra layer for an unexpected draft, a teether... You can lay it down as an improptu play blanket or a makeshift changing pad and when your baby grows into a toddler it makes an excellent super hero cape! There are a few brands of Muslin swaddlers available. We chose Luna Lullaby for the product selection but like the other brands as well.
