(every year in February and July)

 Highlighted Items So far... Medela Breastpumps, slings, cloth diapers, easel, tons of clothes..

**We would LOVE to find your gently used maternity, baby and kid items a new home. 
Drop them off any time!  AND your donation is tax deductible!! 
Just email a request for a donation receipt or pick one up at the Booty.
If items don't sell at the Booty they are re-donated to moms through
Youth Alternatives and PROP programs.

Open House: Celebrating bellies and babies

Every year in May we spend a day celebrating bellies and babies at our open house.  With henna, massage, photos, class demos and many of the providers from our Perintal Resource Guide as guests for the day, its a day to be nurtured and get connected to the Birth Roots community.  We hope you can join us!

Sand Sculpture Contest & Family Fun Day

WHAT: Sponsored teams and walk-on competitors compete to win The Golden Bucket and The Golden Shovel (the judge's choice and people's choice awards) as well as the honor of raising the most funds through sponsorships.  Its a great time to enjoy a little more summer at Crescent Beach and sand sculpting is SO much fun. 

WHY: This is an opportunity for the whole community to invest in perinatal families and a chance for Birth Roots alumni to get together and give back. Has Birth Roots positively impacted your pregnancy or parenting experience, or that of someone you love?  Come show your support so Birth Roots can continue to help new families thrive.  

HOW: There are many ways to be a part of this fun event...
1.  Register a team and sculpt some sand!  Register a team or compete as an individual (beginners welcome!) We want to see Crescent Beach covered in all kinds of sculptures; simple, silly, serious, 2D, 3D...teams can be small or large and scuplting is WAY easier than you might think.  Just complete the form below or show up with shovels on Saturday at 9:30.
2. Show up to support! Bring your friends, come enjoy the day and cast your vote for the People's Choice Award!
3.  Donate to support a team by visiting sandsations.org (coming soon)
4.  Tell others! 
5. Ask your company to sponsor the event

We hope you can join us for a special day of reconnecting and enjoying each other's company.
As a fundraiser this event works like a walk-a-thon, collecting pledges for your team's sandsculpture or voting with your dollars as a spectator. 
Most importantly, as a Community Builder this is a way to get local families together, having fun working on a project Maine State Park, immersed in nature and the beauty of our local ecology...exercise, fresh air, teamwork, creativity, reconnecting, and supporting an independent nonprofit that supports so many families - whats not to love!!
